Time and again, we’ve received reports of teenagers hired as “pet sitters” trashing homes. Although not all teenagers pose a risk, can you afford to take that chance? What if personal possessions go missing? Most home insurance policies do not cover losses caused by non-professional sitters. Furthermore, many sitters don’t carry on-site insurance.
